Ground-Penetrating Radar
Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is used to find underground utilities and buildings that can’t be seen. By sending electromagnetic waves underground, GPR can find metal and nonmetal items with high resolution and greater depth penetration. Before any building or road work is done, this safe, non-destructive way gives an accurate picture of where the utilities are. Some of the utilities that EV finds are plastic or metal water service lines, electric lines, communication lines, gas lines, sewer lines, and other utility lines.
